Jo started her career in financial services in 1995, where she worked at the Halifax in current accounts and personal loans. From here she moved through several departments including secured loans and mortgages, dealing with both customers and brokers.

Upon leaving the Halifax Jo moved to GMAC where she worked as an underwriter based in a packager’s office.

After the credit crunch caused redundancy she worked at GE Money, restructuring mortgages to keep people in their homes.

When they closed in 2016, Jo came to Specialist Hub where she works as a loan partner in the commercial department, responsible for sourcing and processing commercial and semi-commercial/mixed use applications along with complex cases.

Outside of the financial world Jo is a member of a local MS charity where she spends time fundraising to help those in the community with MS.
