After leaving school, Kate’s first job was as a cashier for RBS, where, after 18 months, she moved on to become a mortgage advisor. Since leaving RBS all of Kate’s roles have been customer focused, including underwriting for a large brokerage. Kate was made redundant during the credit crunch and chose to leave the finance industry for several years when she worked as a manager for a woodland cemetery.

Kate started working for Specialist Hub in 2016, working as a loan partner specialising in secured loans and is now responsible for arranging and advising on secured loans, residential and buy-to-let mortgages.

Kate loves working for a small family run firm and the ownership she has from working on each case from start to finish. She really enjoys the challenge of receiving a new enquiry and researching the best available options for the client, particularly when you can save clients’ money or assist in a new business venture.

Outside of work Kate spends most of her time attempting to keep up with her toddler Eva and Beagle Fletcher!
